USMCCertificates.com is the sister site for YourMilitaryHistory.com.  Along with the replacement certificates, over 60% of our business comes from Custom Military Art Works.
I have been painting ever since I was a child.  When I grew up and went into the Marine Corps, I put all my paints, pencils and canvas away.  I replaced it with photography.
Life moved on and I got out of the Corps, found a "real job" and had some kids.
I later found that there are a few sites on the internet that offer some certificates, but most were of
poor quality, home printed on an 8 x 11 piece of paper, and they had very little options for customization. None could do photographs and most offered “cartoon” line art for the awards.
Their prices were high and the feeling I received from a $39 "piece of paper" was not very satisfying. This was not acceptable to me. My service deserved to be shown off in
a custom, high quality, professional way.  Since I had over ten years in graphic design and photography, I decided to create my own certificate.  The result far exceeded my
expectations and almost each veteran I showed it to wanted one of their own.  The demand has grown to the extent that I
formed the company of Yourmilitaryhistory.com.
I urge you to search the internet for a better quality or priced product.  Look at the rest  first and then make your choice!

When you visit YourMilitaryHistory.com, you will see many types of works.  I do a large number of personal service displays and squadron prints.  I have also taken up
painting again, but with a Wacom Tablet connected to my computer system.  This type of digital painting has allowed me to concentrate on my works and not the tools
as before.  When a painting is finished I have the option to have it printed as a fine art print (lithograph) or have it printed on canvas for a traditional look.  The use of the
computer has also allowed me to offer some very affordable options to to you the service veteran.  Do not be fooled though, any painting I do is actually hand painted.
It is not the used of a Photoshop filter and a click of a button.  Each work is created with traditional artist tools of color, form and composition....

One of the custom works you may be interested in is a photo painting of a picture during your time in service.  Send me a favorite photo of you or a family member while
on active duty and I can transform it into a fine work of art.  Any award, medal, badge or patch can be added(painted) into the final photo to produce a very unique work
of art that will displayed with pride.  The final print size is 11x14 or 16x20. I can do color and black and white photos or slides.
Prices start at $49. Just email me or call 888 657-7053.

This is an original image sent to me.
It is very faded and blurry.  The original size of the
photo is a 3x4 "snapshot" from 1963.

The final work for this print is a 11x14 so it is easy to frame and display on a table.
The track has been hand painted.
Distracting elements like the crates and fence are removed.
Ropes added to the tarp and skin tone corrected.
Unit patch added for customer.
Numbers on track made readable.
Many other adjustments made, but not listed.

CUSTOM MILITARY ARTWORK

Actual size of the finished print.
Texture added to soften the painting.
(The higher detailed the original photo means the higher quality the final print.)

Another example of a photo.  This one is a slide that has been scanned.

korea photo          korea veteran

This is a slide scan that was converted to a 11x14 painting of Captain H.G. Waite.
He served in both Korea and Vietnam.  Not too much had to be modified for
this work, only the painting and color correction.
